I recently completed a course on how to determine if a condominium or house was built upon contaminated soil. This is essential information for buyers as well as sellers.
Contaminated or unstable soil can seriously affect not only the value of your real estate investment, but also your health. From a financial and legal standpoint, not only can it reduce property values, but as an owner you are responsible for decontaminating the property.
